HomeRun Homes Donates Services to Wounded Warrior Homes Organization

Ronkonkoma, New York, March 2, 2011 - HomeRun Homes (www.Lease2Buy.com), the Rent to Own Homes classified ads website, has contractually agreed to donate blocks of ad space to the Wounded Warrior Homes Non-Profit Organization (www.woundedwarriorhomes.org).

Giving Back To Those Who Give Us Freedom

Wounded Warrior Homes was founded by Steve & Mia Roseberry with the goal of supporting military members who are dealing with Traumatic Brain Injuries incurred from serving our country. Steve Roseberry has a background as a General Contractor and as a Home Inspector, and Mia Roseberry is a special education teacher familiar with the struggles faced by those with Traumatic Brain Injury. Working as a team with their non-profit organization, their number one priority is to use their skills as real estate investors to help provide transitional housing to service members with Traumatic Brain Injury.

HomeRun Homes, about to celebrate their 9th Anniversary, is billed as "The" Rent to Own Homes Marketplace, and has been uniting buyers and sellers of Rent to Own Homes via their classified ads since 2002. Robert Eisenstein, the CEO & Founder of HomeRun Homes, states that HomeRun Homes "is very proud to announce a partnership with such a fantastic organization". Eisenstein points to the fact that his Paternal Grandfather served in the U.S. armed forces during World War I, and that his Maternal Grandfather was one of our troops that, "stormed the Normandy beaches during World War II", adding that he, "proudly displays his Grandfathers' honorable discharge papers with citations as an expert marksman."

As part of the agreement between HomeRun Homes and Wounded Warrior Homes, HomeRun Homes is providing blocks of Advertising space across multiple categories, and Eisenstein has personally offered to speak to the warriors themselves to provide them with tips on the Rent to Own process. "To this day", says Eisenstein, "I still have family serving in the Armed forces, so this charity just feels so right!".

A Salute to Our Military

Hi Folks,
Good morning and I hope you had a great weekend! We have been blessed with some perfect fall days the past few weekends, and the weather has finally been perfect !

Is today a National holiday? No. Is it a day to salute and give thanks to our military? Yes. Every day is a day to salute the military, and we don't need a calendar to tell us to do it !

I come from a very patriotic family; my paternal grandfather served in World War I (and we treasure the medals he received for his service), and my maternal grandfather served as a marksman at Omaha Beach during World War II (and we equally cherish his honorable discharge papers from his service, as well). Additionally, my dad was a Marine, and both of my cousins have served numerous missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is truly a labor of love, and we salute all of the men and women in uniform.

As always, we offer military discounts for the folks in uniform that are looking for or are offering Rent to Own Homes, and the discount is available by using the code MILDISC10 when placing an Ad, along with using their .mil E-mail address to place the Ad.

Additionally, we are always open to working with non-profit groups, including those groups who are helping current and former members of the military. Please contact us for further details on how we can help you.

To those of you who are in the military, have retired from the military, have family in the military, and especially to those who have a friend or relative who gave the ultimate sacrifice, we thank you a million times over.

Have a Great Week, and Happy Rent-to-Owning !

Neighbors, Community, Charity, and Giving...

Hi Everyone,

A Happy Friday to everyone out there. We had some great feedback regarding our Blog entry from Wednesday, titled, "4 Tips on Pet Friendly Housing", and we are glad that these tips were helpful. We are always available to answer any questions that you have via the comments section on our Blog.

I would like to officially deem this weekend as, "Good Neighbor Weekend", and here are a few things that I suggest on this 2-day romp of "giving and caring".

First: Make it a point to have a friendly discussion with one of your neighbors at least once this weekend. If he or she is outside, then stop your car and have a chat with them. Ask them how things are, how their family is, and how their work is going. This might seem elementary to some people, however, there are some who just cannot find time to do these things (I'm guilty as charged !). If you live in an apartment, visit a neighbor down the hall. It's all about interaction with people who share a common theme with you - location.

Second: Get involved in your community. Now that the warm weather is here, many towns have weekend clean-up days. get involved in one of these. If you have kids, make sure you bring your kids along as well. It's important for them to see their parents pitching in. It sets a great example for them, helps keep your town clean, and strengthens your sense of community.

Finally: Charity. This is a tough one nowadays, since most can barely find money to buy food and pay for basic essentials. But remember, it does not have to be money that you donate; you can donate non-perishable food (cans), old clothing, and other items. You can just ring a local religious organization, a non-profit charity, or you can even drop some items off in those large containers that are stationed in some shopping center parking lots (most are put there by the Salvation Army).

The benefits to your neighbors, your community, and people in need are obvious. What's more, the feeling of "doing good" will carry over into your every day life and will shed some light on you. It's really amazing.

Try it out this weekend and let me know how it went.

Have a Great Weekend, and Happy Rent-to-Owning !
